UKATA Asbestos Awareness Refresher
Description
This refresher course has been designed to complement our half-day UKATA Asbestos Awareness training course. It builds upon existing knowledge and offers a comprehensive refresher that extends learning beyond the original UKATA Asbestos Awareness course content.
Anyone who through their normal work activities could be exposed to materials containing asbestos in the workplace and who already holds a UKATA Certificate in Asbestos Awareness can refresh or re-certify their knowledge as required by the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
The course will take into account delegate experience and skills whilst building upon knowledge gained from previously attending the full training course.
This training course can be delivered at your chosen premises, the cost is £390+VAT for up to 15 delegates.
Prerequisites
Anyone attending must have a UKATA Asbestos Awareness certificate from within the last 12 months.
What you will learn

Accurately identify common asbestos products

Identify where asbestos may be found in buildings or in the workplace

An understanding of the hazards, health risks and controls associated with the accidental disturbance of asbestos
End of course
Assessment: Delegates must complete a written test.
Certification: On successful completion of this course each delegate will receive a UKATA certificate valid for one year.
